Trail Mixer

Happy National Trail Mix Day! What better way to celebrate this day than on a trail enjoying a tasty treat? Join us for an evening program that includes a MYOM (Make Your Own Mix) session and a short hike around the park to trail-test our concoctions. We'll provide the fixings.

Need to Know

• Meet at the Pony Bob Haslam Group Use Area.
• Program is weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice. Check the website for updates before you head out.

What to Bring

• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Comfortable, closed-toe shoes
• Water
• Insect repellent
• Flashlight

What to Expect

• Casual, friendly conversation.
• Easy pace hike (less than 1 mile) on an uneven desert trail with little elevation gain.
• Outdoor setting with opportunities for questions and discussion.
• Trail mix fixings will be provided.

Fees & Registration

• Park entrance fee: $5.00 per vehicle with Nevada plates, $10.00 out-of-state
• There is no additional cost for this program.
