What Is an Action Trackchair?

The Action Trackchair is an all-terrain, electric-powered wheelchair equipped with rubber tracks instead of traditional wheels. Designed to handle rugged outdoor conditions like sand, snow, and rocky trails, these chairs allow users to access areas that standard mobility devices cannot. With features like adjustable seating, ergonomic controls, and powerful motors, the Action Trackchair is a revolutionary tool for outdoor freedom and independence.

Learn more about the chair’s design and capabilities at actiontrackchair.com.

Where You Can Use Them

  • Sand Harbor State Park: Cruise across the sandy beaches, paved pathways, and forested trails along the shores of Lake Tahoe.

  • Cathedral Gorge State Park: Explore the park’s iconic clay spires and narrow slot canyons with ease.
Bonus: The Action Trackchair at Cathedral Gorge is also available for use in other nearby eastern Nevada parks. Contact the park in advance to coordinate use and transportation.

How to Reserve

Each Action Trackchair can be reserved by contacting the park directly. Advance reservations are strongly recommended to ensure availability.

Park staff will provide a brief orientation on how to operate the chair safely and answer any questions before your adventure begins.
