Tortoise Time!

Come out to learn about a legend of the local fauna, the Mojave Desert tortoise. Create a tortoise craft to take with you and maybe meet a special guest! This program is for park visitors of all ages and is kid friendly.

Need to Know

• This program will be outdoors.
• Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Pets are not allowed at this event.

What to Expect

• This is a tabletop educational program with visual aids and hands-on elements.
• You can also create your own desert tortoise with small terracotta saucers and crafting materials.
• The educational content of this program is introductory level.

Fees & Registration

• The $3 per person (kids 12 and under are free) entry fee applies.
• There is no additional cost for this program.
• Drop in anytime between 9:00 am – 11:00 am. No registration required.
