Star Gazing with the Las Vegas Astronomical Society

Date

Saturday, November 14th, 2026 – Saturday, November 14th, 2026

Time

5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Bring your family and join the Las Vegas Astronomical Society at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park on Saturday, November 14, 2026, for an evening of stargazing! With excellent telescopes and knowledgeable guides, you’ll get a closer look at the night sky and discover some of the stories behind those twinkling lights.

Weather and viewing conditions permitting, look for bright stars such as Vega, Deneb, and golden Capella, along with the sparkling Pleiades star cluster, also known as the Seven Sisters. Saturn and its rings may even steal the show! Whether you’re a budding astronomer or simply curious about what’s overhead, bring your questions and your sense of wonder.

Bundle up! The park will be cooler than in town, especially after sunset. Wear warm layers, a jacket, and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Hats and gloves can help keep little stargazers comfortable, too!

Come make some memories beneath the stars—there’s a whole universe waiting to spark your curiosity!
