Spooky Harbor 2026 - Hocus Pocus

Every fall, Sand Harbor State Park transforms into Spooky Harbor, a lakeside celebration of Halloween with movies under the stars and festive fun for all ages! Join us every Friday in October at the Sand Harbor Stage 30 minutes after sunset, for a lineup of spooky favorites, from family-friendly classics to chilling late-night thrills.

Friday, October 9, 2026 will be showing Hocus Pocus. The film is rated PG. Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether the film is appropriate for their children.

Need to Know

  • Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • The program is weather dependent and may be canceled without notice. Check the Nevada State Parks website for updates before you head out.
  • Movie begins approximately 30 minutes after sunset.
  • Lighting is limited after dark.
  • There will be no concessions available.
  • Viewer discretion is advised. Hocus Pocus is rated PG. Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether the film is appropriate for their children.
  • Meet at the Sand Harbor Stage.

  • Movie under the stars with Lake Tahoe as the backdrop
  • Seating on the Sand Harbor Stage area
  • A relaxed, family-friendly evening
  • Movie begins approximately 30 minutes after sunset and runs for approximately 1 hour and 16 minutes
  • Limited lighting after dark, so bring a flashlight

  • Event is free.
  • Standard Sand Harbor State Park entrance fees apply.
  • Drop-in welcome. No registration required.
