Pop-Up Science: Sloth Salad

Giant ground sloths used to roam Las Vegas dinning on plants long before the buffets of the casinos took over. Learn about these strange vegetarians and the plants they loved to eat, then try your luck at finding these delectable desert plants on a scavenger hunt. This program is for park visitors of all ages and is kid friendly.

Need to Know

• The location of this program (indoors or outdoors) will be determined the morning of the event.
• Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

What to Expect

• This is a tabletop educational program with visual aids and hands-on elements.
• There is also a scavenger hunt for those who want to test their plant skills.
• The educational content of this program is introductory level.

Fees & Registration

• The $3 per person (kids 12 and under are free) entry fee applies.
• There is no additional cost for this program.
• Drop in anytime between 9:00 am - 11:00 am. No registration required.
