Night Hike at Washoe Lake State Park

Join park staff for a guided night hike along the South Loop Equestrian Trail. This loop is approximately 2.5 miles long. The hike is flat but involves walking in loose sand. Participants should bring a flashlight and dress in layers for the weather.

WHEN: Friday, October 17, 2025, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE: Park on the west side of the Equestrian Area. 4855 Eastlake Blvd. Washoe Valley, NV 89704. Take Exit 10 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd. for four miles. The park entrance is on the left. Turn right at the fee booth, pass the campground, and follow the short gravel road to the left into the Equestrian Area.

COST: No additional fee is required beyond the standard park entrace fees: $5 for Nevada residents and $10 for non-residents.
