Nevada Fossil Day

Ice Age Fossils State Park is hosting their 2nd Annual Nevada Fossil Day Celebration on April 11th, from 9 am to noon, in partnership with the Protectors of Tule Springs, City of Las Vegas, and City of North Las Vegas. The event will include activities with more than 14 local organizations, highlighting fossil discoveries through art, hands-on activities, and exciting visuals. Visitors can purchase food from local food trucks on site.
To cap off the event, Ice Age Fossils State Park and Protectors of Tule Springs will announce the winners of their 2026 Paleontology Art Contest during the award ceremony starting at 11 am. This is an annual tradition going back more than a decade that celebrates the art of K-12 students in Clark County, Nevada.

- Fees will be waived during this event.
- There is no additional cost for this program.
- Drop in anytime between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. No registration required.
