Kid’s Fishing Derby at Spring Valley State Park on June 14th, 2025
Pioche, Nev. – Get hooked on fishing at Nevada State Park’s free fishing day and Kids’ Fishing Derby! Prizes will be awarded to the angler who catches the smallest and largest fish in each age group. No fishing license required, other limits and regulations still apply

WHEN: Saturday June 14th, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am
WHERE: Spring Valley State Park
WHO: This event is open to kids of all ages!
COST: Admission is free of charge. This event takes place on free fishing day, so no fishing license is necessary.
