Join park staff for a guided hike along the North Loop Equestrian Trail. This is a 3.5-mile loop that will begin from the North Boat Ramp Equestrian parking lot, located off Douglas and Lakeshore. This is an easy hike but involves walking in loose sand and uneven ground. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a six foot leash at all times.
WHEN: Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
WHERE: Washoe Lake State Park North Boat Ramp parking lot (on the north end of Washoe Lake). Take Exit 10 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd. approximately six miles. Turn left onto Douglas Drive, and drive west, 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Lakeshore Drive and take an immediate left turn into the park.
COST: The park entrance fee is waived for Nevada Public Lands Day.
