America 250 Volunteer Project - Graffiti Removal Day

Valley of Fire State Park

Help protect one of Nevada’s most iconic landscapes during this important stewardship day at Valley of Fire State Park. Volunteers will assist park staff in removing graffiti from rocks and park structures, helping preserve the park’s stunning red sandstone formations for future generations. This event is ideal for adults and older teens who want to make a direct impact in a world-famous park while learning about conservation and responsible recreation.

Time: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Location: Valley of Fire State Park

Need to Know

  • Pets not allowed
  • Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Program is weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice; check the website for updates
  • Meet-up location will be shared with registered volunteers

What to Bring

  • Comfortable, closed-toe shoes
  • Sun protection and Weather-appropriate clothing

  • Graffiti removal using park-approved methods
  • Outdoor work on rocky terrain
