Easter Egg Hunt: Fun for all ages! The South Valley Volunteer Fire Department is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt in the park! The Easter Bunny arrives at 11:30 a.m. and the hunt starts promptly at 12:00 p.m. We will be using candy-filled plastic eggs. The South Valley Volunteer Fire Department is requesting a minimum $5 donation at the park entrance to help cover the cost of supplies.

Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Washoe Lake State Park Group Use Area

Need to Know:

  • Please plan to arrive early, as parking spots fill quickly
  • Pets allowed (must be on a 6 foot leash)
  • Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Meet at the Group Use Area inside Washoe Lake State Park.

What to Bring

  • Water
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Easter baskets or bags to hold the Easter eggs!

What to Expect

  • Fun event for children of all ages
  • Outdoor setting with a covered pavilion, picnic tables, and restrooms
  • The hunt begins after the Easter Bunny arrives
  • Food and drinks will be available for purchase

Fees & Registration

  • This event is free, but the South Valley Volunteer Fire Department is requesting donations to help keep this event running
  • Drop-in welcome, no registration required
