Easter Egg Hunt: Fun for all ages! The South Valley Volunteer Fire Department is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt in the park! The Easter Bunny arrives at 12 p.m. and the hunt starts at 12:30 sharp. We will be using candy-filled plastic eggs. The South Valley Volunteer Fire Department is requesting a minimum $5 donation at the park entrance to help cover the cost of supplies.
Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026
Time: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Washoe Lake State Park Group Use Area
Need to Know:
- Please plan to arrive early, as parking spots fill quickly
- Pets allowed (must be on a 6 foot leash)
- Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- Meet at the Group Use Area inside Washoe Lake State Park.
What to Bring
- Water
- Comfortable shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Easter baskets or bags to hold the Easter eggs!
What to Expect
- Fun event for children of all ages
- Outdoor setting with a covered pavilion, picnic tables, and restrooms
- The hunt begins after the Easter Bunny arrives
- Food and drinks will be available for purchase
Fees & Registration
- This event is free, but the South Valley Volunteer Fire Department is requesting donations to help keep this event running
- Drop-in welcome, no registration required
