Join a ranger at Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area for a creepy crawler adventure through the North Trail Loop! Learn about the snakes, scorpions and spiders that call this area home. After the hike, grab a handful of candy and join the ranger to search the park for real spiders and scorpions. This spooky outdoor experience is a great opportunity to discover some of the desert’s fascinating crawlers
Need to Know

Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The program is weather dependent and may be canceled without notice. Check the website for updates before you head out.

Meet at the north parking lot on the left-hand side of the park.

Participants will hike the North Trail Loop and search for spiders and scorpions after the hike.

The $10 per vehicle entrance fee for Nevada residents or $15 per vehicle entrance fee for out-of-state visitors applies.

There is no additional cost for this program.
