Birds, beavers and bears, oh my! Join the Nevada Department of Wildlife’s Urban Wildlife Coordinator to learn about the animals that call Spooner Lake home and how they play a role in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet a Karelian Bear dog!
WHAT: Wildlife Awareness Presentation
WHEN: Saturday, August 3, Bird Walk - 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. Bear Talk: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
WHERE: Spooner Lake State Park is located .25 miles north of Highway 50 on State Route 28.
COST: The event is free and park admission fee is waived for event participants.
