We may not have forests of trees with changing leaves, but we do have fall colors of our own to appreciate at Valley of Fire! Come admire the red, orange, and yellow sandstone formations on this guided sunrise hike to welcome the Fall Season.
Need to Know
• The West Entrance/Exit will be CLOSED. Guests must use the East Entrance/Exit to the Park. This can be accessed from Exit 93 off of I-15, or by driving through Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
• Meet at the Rainbow Vista Trailhead (~2 miles north on White Domes Road; the turnoff for this road is 3.5 miles west from the Park's East Fee Booth)
• Pets allowed (must be on a 6 foot leash)
• Program is weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice. Check the website for updates before you head out.

• Comfortable shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
What to Expect
• A guided hike on the Rainbow Vista Trail to learn about the geology and wildlife at the park while enjoying beautiful views.
• The trail is a 1-mile (roundtrip) out-and-back trail over soft sand and rocky terrain.
• There is a short, but quite steep, slightly off-trail trek to the viewpoint shown in the photo here.
• Our pace will be determined by the comfort and skill level of the group.
Fees & Registration
• Park entrance fee (per vehicle): $10 if NV Res/$15 if non-NV Res
• No reservation required!
