Please note we are leading this guided hike on TWO separate days. Wednesday, 10/28 and Friday, 10/30. Be sure to specify which date you are signing up for when e-mailing us to reserve your spot(s).
This is a 4 mile hike with 600 ft gain. We'll take a sandy walk through the washes before heading to a high rocky area for break. After, the hike heads west past a couple arches before clambering up and over Mouse’s Tank. While we're out there, we'll try to find the "Witch's Broom Arch" in honor of Spooky Season!
Need to Know
- Approximate actual distances are given, but the nature of off-trail hiking in Valley of Fire means that the perceived distance is about twice the actual distance (i.e. a 4 mile hike ‘feels like’ an 8 mile hike.)
- This off-trail hike is for experienced hikers ONLY.
- Participants must be at least 10 years of age. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Pets are not permitted on these hikes.
What to Expect
