Cave Lake State Park - Park Rules

  • Campsite Campsite Check-in starts: 2 p.m. / Check-out by: 11 a.m.
  • The entire South side of the road from the fee station to the Overlook Trail is closed to the public. This includes the Day Use picnic areas.

  • Ground fires are only allowed in designated fire pits.

  • The entire dam is closed to all access, and the emergency spill way.

  • Elk Flat Campground is closed from November 1st thru May 1st.

  • Lake View Campground is open only in the lower loop.

  • Hunting is allowed in the park outside 1000 feet of a standing occupied structure.

  • OHVs are allowed on designated roads with a speed limit of 8 MPH

  • Camp sites must be paid for and occupied.
