South Loop Trail Evening Hike

Join park staff for a guided hike along the South Loop Equestrian Trail. This easy loop is approximately 2.5 miles round-trip. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a six-foot leash at all times. Participants should bring water, a camera, and wear comfortable hiking shoes. 
WHEN: Monday, July 31, 2023, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the Equestrian Area inside Washoe Lake State Park. 4855 Eastlake Blvd., Washoe Valley, NV 89704. Take Exit 10 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd., approximately four miles. The park entrance is on the left. Turn right past the fee booth, pass the campground, and follow the short gravel road to the Equestrian Pavilion.
COST: The park entrance fee is $5 per vehicle for Nevada residents and $10 per vehicle for non-Nevada residents. We can accept cash, check, or credit cards. There is no additional fee for this event.
WHO: This event is open to the public and is hosted by Washoe Lake State Park.
