Sections of the Walker River not recommended for floating

Floating the Walker River between Squeeze Chute and the Cabins is strongly discouraged due to extremely hazardous conditions, including downed trees and barbed wire fencing along that stretch. Visitors are advised to put in at safer access points, such as the Cabins or the Minister Road Bridge, where parking is available.
