Junior Ranger Day Camp

Junior Rangers wanted! Children between the ages of 7-10 are invited to join Nevada State Parks staff at Dayton State Park for a Junior Ranger Day Camp. Come have fun and discover the park’s cultural and natural resources while gaining the skills and confidence for a lifetime of rewarding outdoor experiences and stewardship. Over this four-day camp, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities, crafts, outdoor exploration, and cooperative games. A daily snack and all program materials are included. Space is limited. Registration required - registration deadline June 16, 2023. Please email Kristin Sanderson, ksanderson@parks.nv.gov

WHEN: Tuesday – Friday, June 20 – 23, 2023, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Additional details will be made available at time of registration.

WHERE: Dayton State Park, 825 U.S. Highway 50 East, Dayton, Nevada 89403.

COST: $20.00 registration fee. Registration fee based on the park’s daily, per vehicle entrance fee (4 days x $5.00 per vehicle = $20.00). Registration fee is due on the first day of camp.
