May National Play Outside Day

National Play Outside Day takes place on the first Saturday of every month. Families are encouraged to meet at the Maze parking lot for this event. There is a children’s play area, a hiking trail to the beach, and we will have a station set up with crafts and other activities.

WHEN: Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

WHERE: Meet at the Maze parking lot inside the park. Take Exit 10 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd. for four miles. The park entrance is on the left. Turn left past the fee booth and the Maze is the first parking lot on the right.

COST: The park entrance fee is $5 per vehicle for Nevada residents and $10 per vehicle for non-Nevada residents. We can accept cash, check, or credit cards. There is no additional fee for this event.

WHO: This event is open to the public and is hosted by Washoe Lake State Park.
