Services limited in all parks

All park services are back up and running at normal opperation.

Some park services may still be unavailable. The main office in Carson City, regional offices, and park offices are open to the public; however services are limited. Phone lines remain down. Voicemails and emails will be addressed as services come back online. 

Parks are otherwise operational. Expect traffic delays at entrance stations and cash only fees.

We appreciate your patience. Please be respectful of park staff as they continue to work around these issues.

UPDATE: August 26, 2025

As the state continues its recovery from the network issues, park network services may still be unavailable. Regional offices and park offices are open to the public; however services are limited. All phone lines remain down.

August 25, 2025

The division headquarters in Carson City will be closed today, August 25, as the State of Nevada is continuing recovery from a network security incident. 

Our website and some network services in parks, may be experiencing temporary outages. Parks remain operational; however, be prepared for cash only entrance fees.
