Nevada Division of State parks is seeking proposals for the reconstruction of the historic blacksmith shop at Mormon Station State Historic Park.  In early September 2025, a car ran into the building – causing severe damage.  The contractor will repair the shop building according to the set of plans produced – saving all historic elements possible – so the park can have a functioning blacksmith shop once again.  Project includes bringing building up to current code requirements.

Proposals will be received for the work online through www.questcdn.com (QuestCDN project number: 10193288) until 1:00 PM PST on May 28, 2026, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read.  All work shall be completed in (90) calendar days from the date stated in the Notice to Proceed. A pre-bid meeting will be at the park on Friday, May 22.
