The forces of nature can be a mighty power, and often, looking around, it can be hard to imagine that wind, rain, snow, and ice created what we see today. Join a ranger for an hour and one-half, moderate hike along the Fire Wave Trail, and unravel the story of the rocks and how they all came to be. Participants for this hike should bring water, sunscreen, hiking shoes, and a hat.
WHEN: Saturday, February 16, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
WHERE: Meet at Parking Lot #3 on White Domes Road
COST: This event is free of charge; however, Valley of Fire State Park does have a day-use fee of $10 per vehicle.
