Sunset Hike at Washoe Lake State Park

Join park staff for a guided Sunset Hike along the Deadman’s Creek Trail. This trail is 1.5 miles round-trip, with an elevation gain of 380 feet. Meet at the Maze parking lot inside the park. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a six-foot leash at all times. Participants should wear comfortable hiking shoes, bring a flashlight, and dress in layers for the weather. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (775) 687-4319 or emailing wlsp@parks.nv.gov.

WHEN: Sunday, July 31, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

WHERE: Meet at the Maze parking lot inside the park. Take Exit 10 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd. for four miles. The park entrance is on the left. Turn left past the fee booth and the Maze is the first parking lot on the right.

COST: The park entrance fee is $5 per vehicle for Nevada residents and $10 per vehicle for non-Nevada residents. We can accept cash, check, or credit cards.
