Sunrise Hike at Elephant Rock Loop

Valley of Fire State Park

Join us for an educational guided morning hike on the Elephant Rock Loop Trail. It's early, but you'll be glad you came!

No reservation required.

WHEN: Thursday, January 4
6:30-8:00am
Plan to arrive a little early to account for travel delays.

WHERE: Elephant Rock Loop
Meet at the East Entrance Parking Lot. ("Elephant Rock" in Valley of Fire can be found on Google Maps)

COST: Included with park entry fee.
Fee can be paid at the kiosks at park entrances.
NV Residents: $10 per vehicle
Out of State Guests: $15 per vehicle

WHAT: A ~1.25 mile loop trail over loose sand and rough terrain featuring a beautiful view of the southeast side of the park. We'll learn about the geology and wildlife we see on the hike. Please bring water, wear hiking shoes, and dress for the weather. Due to the nature of the terrain, this ~1.25 mile trek feels more like a 2.5 mile hike.
