Stuffed Turkey Hike

Join a Park Ranger for Big Bend’s annual Stuffed Hike! This post-Thanksgiving hike is the perfect way to burn off some calories while exploring the park’s beautiful trails. The route takes you through Big Bend’s Roadrunner, Quail, and Coyote Trails for a total of approximately 1.31 miles, with about 0.73 miles in sand.

The hike will begin at the campground restrooms and lead through the day-use area for a scenic stroll along the beach before returning to the campground. Along the way, the ranger will discuss local wildlife and vegetation and answer any questions you have about the park.

Please bring water and wear appropriate shoes for hiking in sandy areas.
