Self-guided New Moon Hike - March 2025

WHEN: Friday, 3/28
Arrive between 7:45—8:45pm ;
Be back in your vehicle no later than 9:15pm

WHERE: White Domes Loop
(Parking lot and trailhead 5 miles north of Visitor Center)

WHAT: White Domes Loop is a 1 mile loop trail over loose sand and rocky terrain featuring a slot canyon and the remains of an old movie set. There are uneven stone steps on this trail. There will be rough, uneven terrain and loose sand.
The trail will be marked with tealights to guide the way on our self-guided night hikes, but please bring your own flashlight with a red, blue, or green setting. (You will need a flashlight!) People typically spend about 45 minutes on this trail.

**Note that the park closes at sunset. You must be attending a park-approved event to be anywhere in the park after hours, and you must be in the specific area where the event is being held. Commercial photography is prohibited without a permit. **
