ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Shanandoah Anderson is a member of the Shivwits Band of Paiutes Tribe. Her deep connection to her heritage stems from a lifetime of learning and dedication to her culture. Her knowledge and exploration of petroglyphs began in childhood, as she accompanied her father in his investigation and analysis of the rock writings, assisting in the documentation that would later be used in his book The Rocks Begin to Speak. She has continued this research and education into adulthood, and we are grateful to learn from her in this program.
