Park Planning Workshop at Kershaw-Ryan State Park

Kershaw-Ryan State Park

Join Nevada Division of State Parks (NDSP) for a Planning Workshop at Kershaw-Ryan State Park on Saturday, May 31! NDSP staff will be stationed at the day-use picnic area lawn with interactive materials to gather your thoughts, ideas, and concerns about Kershaw-Ryan State Park and Elgin Schoolhouse State Historic Site (Elgin Schoolhouse is located approximately 22 miles south of Kershaw-Ryan via State Route 317).

NDSP is updating the development plan for Kershaw-Ryan State Park and creating a new plan for the Elgin Schoolhouse State Historic Site. These development plans will address the park's current and future needs, outline a long-term vision for the site, and identify specific projects and priorities.

Public input is essential to the success of these plans. The feedback from this workshop will help guide the future of Kershaw-Ryan and Elgin Schoolhouse. Participants can share their ideas on what amenities should be added, which facilities need updating or replacement, and any other issues related to the park. Join us on Saturday, May 31, to help shape the future of Kershaw-Ryan and Elgin Schoolhouse!

WHEN: Saturday, May 31, from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Participants may stop by anytime within this window.
