Join Ranger Tom for a nocturnal experience at Fort Churchill. Explore the world of owls, bats and other critters of the night through activities and an interactive nature walk that will test your night vision and challenge your senses.

- Meet at the John C. Fremont Day Use Area.
- Program content is intended for adults and children 10 years of age and older.
- Program is weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice. Check the website for updates before you head out.

- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Comfortable, closed-toe shoes
- Water
- Insect repellent
- Red light
What to Expect
- Easy pace hike (approximately 1.5 mile) on a sandy, uneven desert trail with minimal elevation gain.
- Outdoor setting with opportunities for questions and discussion.
- Educational, ranger-led experience.
Fees & Registration
- Park entrance fee: $5.00 per vehicle with Nevada plates, $10.00 out-of-state
- There is no additional cost for this program.
