Nevada Fossil Day and Paleontology Art Contest Awards

Ice Age Fossils State Park

This year’s art contest and event is in celebration of April being Nevada’s Paleontological Awareness Month. Students from across Clark County, Nevada, have been called to participate by creating unique artwork highlighting Nevada’s rich fossil history. This year’s theme is, “Prehistoric Nevada.” The event and ceremony are open to the public. Visitors will be encouraged to tour the art gallery to view the artwork, participate in tabling activities, attend the awards, and enjoy the park.

When: April 5th, 9am-12:00pm
Where: Check in at the Visitor Center
Cost: The $3 per person (13 years+) entry fee applies. There is no additional fee for this program.

No reservations required. Open to the public.
