Junk Journaling Fort Churchill (Reservations Required)
Join Park Volunteer, Denise Nickel, to create a junk journal that tells the story of Fort Churchill. Find inspiration in Fort Churchill’s rich history, its current state of arrested decay, its recreational opportunities, local wildlife, or a combination of features. You are the storyteller! Supplies and instructions will be provided. Program is intended for adults and children 14 years of age and older. Reservations required - please email ksanderson@parks.nv.gov

What to Expect
- A creative approach to storytelling, scrapbooking, and memory-keeping using recycled materials.
- Make and take your own junk journal.
- Outdoor setting with opportunities for questions and discussion.
- Educational, volunteer-led experience.
Fees & Registration
- Park entrance fee: $5.00 per vehicle with Nevada plates, $10.00 out-of-state
- There is no additional cost for this program.
