Jack O’ Lantern Jamboree

Walker River State Recreation Area

Join park staff at the Pitchfork Ranch unit of the Walker River State Recreation Area for a fun Halloween event for the whole family! Kids of all ages (including adults) are welcome to come and carve a pumpkin; we will supply pumpkins and carving kits for participant’s use (while supplies last).

Join in traditional activities such as the three-legged race, gunny sack race, wheelbarrow race, a  cake walk, and face painting.

Visitors are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes. Goodie bags will be awarded for some of the best costumes (most spooky, most unique, funniest, best character, and overall best).

Pumpkin carving will begin at noon, all other events will begin at 1 p.m.

WHEN: Saturday, October 26, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
