Introduction to Valley of Fire

Valley of Fire State Park

Valley of Fire has a lot to offer, and if you have a short amount of time it can be hard to fit it all in in one day. Come to the Visitor Center and meet a ranger in front of the theater for a short talk about the geological history, human history and common flora and fauna of the park. Check the park’s Facebook page for changes and updates to interpretive programs.

WHEN: Every Saturday for the month of June, 11:00 am-11:30 am.
WHERE: Meet at the Valley of Fire Visitor Center.
COST: This event is free of charge, however, Valley of Fire State Park does have a day-use fee of $10 per vehicle.
CONTACT: Rosa Prasser, 702-397-2088, vofinterpreter@mvdsl.com
