Introduction to Nature Journaling

Are you curious about nature and interested in learning more? Slow down and enhance your observation skills during this interactive nature journaling program.

Need to Know

• Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
• Pets are not allowed for this program
• Meet at the Boat Ramp parking lot
• Nature journals and program materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own
• Program is weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice. Check the website for updates before you head out.

What to Bring

• Water
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Your own curiosity
• Dress in layers for the weather

What to Expect

• Outdoor environment with opportunities for questions and discussion
• We will go over the basics of nature journaling
• Drawing exercises and other activities, no art experience necessary
• A short walk through the park’s Day Use Area

Fees & Registration

• No program fee
• Park entrance fees are $5 per vehicle for Nevada residents and $10 per vehicle for non-Nevada residents
