Are you curious about nature and interested in learning more? Slow down and enhance your observation skills during this interactive nature journaling program.
Need to Know
- Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- Pets are not allowed for this program
- Meet at the Boat Ramp parking lot
- Nature journals and program materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own
- Program is weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice. Check the website for updates before you head out.
What to Bring
- Water
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Your own curiosity
- Dress in layers for the weather
What to Expect
- Outdoor environment with opportunities for questions and discussion
- We will go over the basics of nature journaling
- Drawing exercises and other activities, no art experience necessary
- A short walk through the park’s Day Use Area
Fees & Registration
- No program fee
- Park entrance fees are $5 per vehicle for Nevada residents and $10 per vehicle for non-Nevada residents
