Guided Morning Hike at Mouse’s Tank/Petroglyph Canyon

Valley of Fire State Park

Join us for an educational guided morning hike on the Mouse's Tank/Petroglyph Canyon trail. It's early, but you'll be glad you came!

No reservation required.

WHEN: Friday, September 1
6:00-7:30am
Plan to arrive a little early to account for travel delays.

WHERE: Mouse's Tank/Petroglyph Canyon Trailhead, north of the Visitor Center on White Domes Road/Mouse's Tank Road. ("Petroglyph Canyon Parking Lot" can also be found on Google Maps)

COST: Included with park entry fee.
Fee can be paid at the kiosks at park entrances.
NV Residents: $10 per vehicle
Out of State Guests: $15 per vehicle

WHAT: A 0.75 mile out-and-back trail over loose sand and rough terrain featuring petroglyphs made by Native Americans hundreds of years ago. We'll learn about the petroglyphs and wildlife we see on the hike. Please bring water, wear hiking shoes, and dress for the weather. This trail can be considered easy.
