Guided First Day Hike Mouse’s Tank

Valley of Fire

Celebrate the New Year with a First Day Hike in Valley of Fire State Park.

This is an easy hike that will start at the Mouse’s Tank trailhead. This hike is ¾-mile long, will take an hour, and will be led by park volunteers. 

Wear appropriate hiking gear, and bring two liters of water. Sunscreen and hats are recommended. No registration is required for this hike.

WHEN: Wednesday, January 1, Noon-1:00pm

WHERE: From the visitor center, travel one mile north on White Domes road to the first

parking lot on the right. 

COST: Attending this hike will get you free entry into the park for the day. Inform the attendant at the entry gate that you are participating in a first-day hike.
