Celebrate the New Year with a First Day Hike in Valley of Fire State Park.
This is a moderate hike that will start at parking lot #3 on White Domes Road. This hike is
1-mile long, will take one hour, and will be led by park volunteers.
Wear appropriate hiking gear, and bring two liters of water. Sunscreen and hats are recommended. No registration is required for this hike.
WHEN: Wednesday, January 1, 9:00am-10:00am
WHERE: From the visitor center, travel north on White Domes Road to parking lot #3
COST: Attending this hike will get you free entry into the park for the day. Inform the attendant at the entry gate that you are participating in a first-day hike.
