Valley of Fire State Park is participating in the 2022 national Girl Scouts Love State Park program with two fun events in September! 

Bat House Building and Night Walk 
(Designed based on requirements for Juniors: Animal Habitats and Cadettes: Night Owl) 

What has a belly button and flies with the power of jazz hands? BATS! Learn about these fantastic creatures then work together to build homes for them that can be placed in your community. We’ll finish up the evening with a sunset hike, keeping our eyes open wide to see these creatures as they wake up to start the night. 

WHEN: Saturday, September 10, 2022. 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

COST: $10 per vehicle.
