Valley of Fire State Park

** No reservation required!

WHAT: Hike a ~2 mile trail over loose sand and uneven ground under the light of the full moon. We’ll set up tealights to help you find your way, but a flashlight with red setting is necessary. The trail is about 2 miles long, but feels more like 4 miles due to the terrain.

WHEN: Monday, November 13
Arrive between 5:30 and 6:30pm; You must be back in your vehicle by 9pm. (The trail typically takes 2 hours to complete)

WHERE: Fire Wave/Seven Wonders Loop
- Drive ~5 miles north of the Visitor Center on White Domes Road (sometimes referred to as "Mouse's Tank Road") to the Fire Wave Parking Lot- Parking Lot "P3."
- "Fire Wave Trailhead" can also be found on Google Maps.

BRING: Close-toed shoes, water, a red light. (Using a red light helps you keep your night vision and is less bothersome to other guests)

COST:
- $10 for NV Residents per vehicle,
- $15 for Out of State Guests per vehicle.
(If you have a NEVADA STATE PARKS Annual Pass or a receipt from entry to the park earlier on the same day you do not have to pay the above fee!)
