Full Moon Hike

Explore Washoe Lake State Park under the light of a full moon! Join park staff for a guided hike along the South Loop Equestrian Trail. Reservations are required for this hike.

Need to Know

• Pets allowed (must be on a 6 foot leash)
• Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
• Program is weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice. Check the website for updates before you head out.
• Park on the west side of the Equestrian Area

What to Bring

• Comfortable walking shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Water

What to Expect

• Outdoor setting with opportunities for questions and discussion
• An easy 2.5-mile loop through loose sand and uneven ground
• Wide open views of the night sky
