Celebrate the New Year with a first-day hike in Valley of Fire State Park. This is a moderate hike that will start at the parking lot for Elephant Rock on the east end of the park. The hike will be 2 hours long and led by a volunteer of the park.
Wear appropriate hiking gear and bring 2 liters of water. Sunscreen and hats are recommended. No registration is required for this hike.
WHEN: Tuesday, January 1st, 9:00 am-11:30 am
WHERE: East end of park
COST: Park entrance fee is waived for hike participants.
