Costume Night Hike at Valley of Fire

WHEN: Thursday, 10/31/2024
Arrive between 6:45—7:45pm ;
Be back in your vehicle no later than 8:30pm.

WHERE: Mouse's Tank Trail / Petroglyph Canyon
(Trailhead, parking lot, and picnic area 1 mile north of Visitor Center)

WHAT: Hike a self-guided 0.75 mile out-and-back trail under the stars in your Costume! Tealights will guide the way but a flashlight with a red, green, or blue setting is necessary- be sure to bring one. People typically spend about 30 minutes on this trail. There will be rough, uneven terrain and loose sand.

**Note that the park closes at sunset. You must be attending a park-approved event to be anywhere in the park after hours, and you must be in the specific area where the event is being held. Commercial photography is prohibited without a permit. **
