Campfire Stories Amphitheater Program

Washoe Lake State Park

Have you ever made up your own campfire stories? Well, now you can! In this family-friendly storytelling game, participants will work together using illustrated cards to tell their own campfire stories. Story topics will include camping, wildlife, nature, and outdoor adventures. Light refreshments will be provided while supplies last.

WHEN: Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Washoe Lake State Park Campground Amphitheater. 4855 Eastlake Blvd. Washoe Valley, NV 89704. Take Exit 10 from I-580 and drive north on Eastlake Blvd. for four miles. The park entrance is on the left. Turn right at the fee booth and then turn left into Campground Loop A. Parking is along the access road in front of the amphitheater.

COST: No additional fee is required beyond the standard park entrance fees: $5 for Nevada residents and $10 for non-residents.                                 

MORE: This event may be moved indoors or rescheduled in the case of high winds or inclement weather.
