Fort Churchill State Historic Park

Happy National Trail Mix Day! What better way to celebrate this day than on a trail enjoying a tasty treat? Join us for an evening program that includes a MYOM (Make Your Own Mix) session and a short hike around the park to trail-test our concoctions. We’ll provide the fixings. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and bring water, insect repellent, and a flashlight.

WHEN: Saturday, August 31, 2024, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Pony Bob Haslam Group Use Area at Fort Churchill. Fort Churchill is located 8 miles south of the Highway 95A/Highway 50 intersection on Highway 95A at 10000 Highway 95A,Silver Springs, NV 89429.

WHO: The program is open to the public and hosted by Fort Churchill State Historic Park.

COST: Park entrance fees apply, $5.00 per vehicle ($10.00 non-Nevada vehicles). There is no additional cost to participate in the program.
