Morning Hike at White Domes

Valley of Fire State Park

What: Beat the heat with an early morning guided hike through White Domes Loop, known for its slot canyon and beautiful views. A knowledgeable Intern from the Nevada Department of Wildlife will lead the hike with assistance from Valley of Fire’s Park Interpreter, who are both eager to teach about the area’s fascinating geologic history. The 1 mile loop is considered easy/moderate. The terrain is uneven, with loose sand, steep stone steps, and a minor scrambling area.

Where: White Domes Trail (at the end of White Domes Road, 6 miles north of the Visitor Center in Valley of Fire State Park)

When: Sunday, August 7th, 5:30am - 7:00am

Cost: Covered with park entrance fees, paid per vehicle at park entrances - $10 per vehicle for Nevada residents.
