Red Rock Audubon Bird Walk

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

While Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is known mostly for its historic buildings and star-studded past, it also offers hiking trails and of course, birding in a beautiful setting near Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

We’ll walk two trails with easy to moderate difficulty for 2 to 3 miles, depending on the interests of the group. Participants need to wear shoes appropriate for uneven ground. Additionally, please remember to bring sunscreen, plenty of water, snacks for yourself, binoculars, and appropriate clothing for the day (such as a hat and layers to adjust as the day warms up and to protect you from the desert sun).

The $10 registration fee will also cover the entrance fee to the park.
