Pollinator Day at The Old Fort

Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park

Join us for Pollinator Day to learn about bees and other pollinators, native plants, and how to build a bee habitat. Visit the information tables and meet Master Gardeners and Community Partners. Meet crafters and artists, and also enjoy some honeycomb candy. See the pollinator garden at The Old Fort and how to make your own. Learn about beekeeping and honeybees.

Need to Know:

  • Pets not allowed
  • Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Program is weather dependent and may be cancelled without notice. Check the website for updates before you head out.

  • Water
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Interest in pollinators!

What to Expect

  • Booths including crafters, artists, and food
  • Music and a relaxing atmosphere
  • Flat terrain, ADA accessible
  • Stop by anytime between 10am - 1pm
  • An active polinator garden on site with bees. Not recommended for those who are allergic.

Fees & Registration

  • $3 entrance fee; kids 12 and under are free
  • Drop-in welcome, no registration required
