November Full Moon Hike - Reservation Required!

RESERVATION REQUIRED- Space is limited!

See details below and email kwolfe@parks.nv.gov your preferred arrival time (5:30, 6:30, or 7:30pm – Understand we will try our best, but a spot is not guaranteed. We recommend sending us your Top AND Second preference!).

 

**Note that the park closes at sunset. You must be attending a park-approved event to be anywhere in the park after hours, and you must be in the specific area(s) where the event is being held. Commercial photography is prohibited without a permit. **

 

WHAT: Hike a 1 mile long trail over loose sand under the light of the Full Moon. We’ll set up tealights to help you find your way. We will have one trail and one sky-viewing location open until 8:30pm. Specific locations will be sent after a reservation is made.

 

WHEN: Wednesday, November 9
Timeslots:
5:30pm
6:30pm
7:30pm

 

BRING: Close-toed shoes, water, a red light. (Using a red light helps you keep your night vision and is less bothersome to other guests)

 

COST:
- $10 for NV Residents per vehicle,
- $15 for Out of State Guests per vehicle.
(If you have a NEVADA STATE PARKS Annual Pass or a receipt from entry to the park earlier on the same day you do not have to pay the above fee!)
